We specialise in complete
outfits for beginners and advancing students.
As well as complete
outfits, we also do starter package offers, such as the £100 package,
which includes a shoulder rest, tuner, clip-on tuner pickup as well as the violin
outfit plus free Hidersine 3V (or equivalent) rosin.
Under £100
All our instruments come ready to
play. We also include a better quality cake of rosin (such as Hidersine 3V,
or similar) with each outfit that we sell - our experience has shown us that
the rosins that come with outfits are inferior and make an already difficult
instrument even more so!
All budget instruments are fitted
with basic tape-wound strings that tend to sound metallic and tinny. For that
reason we offer a string upgrade package with every instrument that we sell-
with around £5 or more off the price of the strings (when purchased separately)
This offer is only available at the time of purchase. The string upgrades are
listed with each instrument. If your choice of string is not listed, we can
offer it, just let us know!
Entry Level
We offer basic violin outfits starting
from £64.95. The Hans Joseph Hauer outfit is ideal for the absolute beginner
on a tight budget.

|
Available as
a violin on its own, or as part of a complete outfit.
The Messina
comes with Pirastro Tonica (or similar) strings fitted as standard. It
features Ebony pegs and fingerboard.
These instruments
are made in specialist hand workshops in the Stentor factory, where all
the work is supervised by a master maker.
Outfit comes
with oblong case worth £49.95 plus a good quality pernambuco bow.
